How to Install Your Deca Moda Directional Signs

Installation is straightforward and designed to suit a variety of surfaces and settings. Your sign will arrive ready to mount using one of our two installation methods. Please note that Deca Moda does not supply fixings or screws — customers are responsible for sourcing their own appropriate hardware for screw-fix installations.

• Step 1 – Choose Your Installation Method

  When placing your order, select either pre-drilled mounting holes for a permanent screw-fix installation, or pre-applied VHB double-sided tape for a peel-and-stick finish. Both deliver a clean, professional result suited to a wide range of surfaces.

• Step 2 – Prepare Your Surface

  Ensure your chosen installation surface is clean, dry, and free from dust, grease, or loose paint. For screw fixing, confirm the wall substrate is suitable for your chosen fixings. For VHB tape, a smooth, non-porous surface delivers the strongest bond.

• Step 3 – Position & Mark (Screw Fix)

  If using pre-drilled holes, hold the sign in position and use a pencil or marker to indicate drill points through the holes. Remove the sign, drill your holes, insert your own appropriate fixings, then align the sign and screw it securely into place.

• Step 3 – Peel & Press (VHB Tape)

  If using the VHB tape method, simply peel the protective backing from the pre-applied tape on the rear of the sign, position it carefully on your chosen surface, and press firmly for 30–60 seconds to activate the adhesive bond. No tools or drilling required.

• Step 4 – Stand Back & Review

  Once mounted, step back and check alignment, legibility, and positioning. Deca Moda signs are produced with sharp, high-contrast print quality to ensure instant readability from a distance — a final visual check confirms everything is perfectly in place.
