How to Install Your Deca Moda Wall Decor Sign
Installing your Deca Moda wall decor sign is a simple, straightforward process. We offer two reliable installation methods to suit different wall types and personal preferences. Please note that Deca Moda does not supply fixings or screws – customers are responsible for sourcing their own appropriate fixings based on their wall type and sign size.
Step 1 – Choose Your Installation Method
When placing your order, select either the pre-drilled mounting holes option for screw fixing, or the VHB double-sided tape option for a peel-and-stick installation. Both methods provide a secure, professional finish suited to different wall surfaces and display preferences.
Step 2 – Prepare Your Wall Surface
Ensure your wall surface is clean, dry, and free from dust, grease, or loose paint before installation. For screw fixing, mark your drill points carefully using a spirit level to ensure a perfectly straight hang. For VHB tape installation, wiping the surface with isopropyl alcohol before application will maximise adhesion.
If you selected the pre-drilled mounting holes option, your sign will arrive with neat holes positioned at the corners or edges, ready for fixing. Using your own appropriate screws and wall plugs (sourced separately by you), fix the sign firmly to the wall. This method is ideal for heavier signs or surfaces such as brick, plaster, and timber stud walls.
Step 3B – Peel and Stick Installation (VHB Tape)
If you selected the VHB double-sided tape option, your sign will arrive with high-strength VHB tape pre-applied to the rear. Simply peel the protective backing and press the sign firmly against your prepared wall surface, holding it in place for 30 to 60 seconds for a strong initial bond. VHB tape is suitable for smooth painted walls, tiles, glass, and other non-porous surfaces.
Step 4 – Stand Back and Admire
